Likes: Bought a pair of snowboarding pants and they are better than thought possible, comfortable and warm, very waterproof and breathable. Little on the big side but still fit ok, maybe consider next size down.
Dislikes: External ankle studs for boots come undone easily, still second boot layer so snow doesn't get in.

Likes: Have a jacket from 686, had a pair of pants. My GF has a shell jacket which she wears as everyday clothing outdoors. The stuff is well made, durable, with fashion, warm liner, good ratio value\money.
Dislikes: Some of the sizes not very consistent from item to item, from model to model.. So could be a little bigger than expected.

Likes: Great company with quality designs. I do find that some of their goods are more baggy, but i guess that's how they cut their soft goods. Just sayin, if that's your thing. I have never had any complaints about my softgoods, the design and quality have always been top notch.

Likes: i have bought numerous amounts of 686 clothing from pants to jackets, and they all hold up against the hardest thrashings! They are quality products that stay dry no matter what! From there insulated smarty tech to there standard softshells keep you extremely warm! And all 686 products fit a size big for steez and have pockets galore!!!

Likes: Everthing 686 makes are very cleverly designed with many useful features. I am a huge fan of anything 686 puts out- you can tell it's been designed and made by people who ride! It's worth the extra $ because it's quality and will last you a long time.

Likes: 686 makes great outterwear! they have a really varied selection that seems to cover all types of riders - from flashy and new school to clam neutral for old men like myself(thats just a joke). They have unique designs and elements to their clothing that make you go 'what?' and a year later you find another secret pocket! def very good quality and will keep you warm. Unless it's a shell then you need layering.

Likes: 686 are the only pants I will spend my money on. Burton pants are too baggy (I'm 5'6'' and a medium is too big for my liking) but the 686 are just right. Quality gear from the smarty line down to the entry mannual.

Likes: 686 is by far my favorite outterwear. I live in AZ where it is much warmer, and you don't need an inner layer, but love to travel to CO, WA, Canada and other places where you do need additional layers. The smarty feature allows for this versatility and 686 is one of the only lines you can find it in. The 686 outterwear fits much more comfortably than Burton. The features and protection from the elements make it my favorite outterwear.
Dislikes: Styles can be limited, and I swear the 686 plaid markers looked purple to me ;)

If you want the gangsta look go no further 686 is naturally baggy and large. 686 offer many jackets with removable liners which means they can be used in any conditions and when you get back to your accommodation just zip our and you don't need to get changed. Lastly if your one who needs lots of pockets then 686 has you covered, but if you dont like heaps of pockets 686 has kindly made the pockets so well hidden that my last trip to the snow I found a new one.

Likes: I absolutely love 686 products. My first 686 product was a pair of cargo snowboarding pants that I purchased somewhere between 1999-2002. To this day (the last day Bush is in office) these are my only snowboarding pants. Their gear is stylish, durable and innovative. I also own a 2008 Manual jacket and I look forward to updating to some new 686 pants after 10 years riding in the same pants.
Dislikes: Some of their products are too bulky and heavy but they use a lot of material to keep you dry and warm. Clothes run a little large also.

Likes: You are smart if you wear smarty pants. The removable liner pants have turned into my favorite pajama pants as well, also perfect for the ride home. I still have an original cargo pant from like 4 or 5 years ago and they are still in great condition and still very weather proof.
Dislikes: Sometimes they get too hot for me with the liners in them. no biggie, just the only thing i could think of to complain about.
